Keeping pace with security and user demands can feel like a moving target for facilities and security managers and directors. Technology evolves, physical security threats shift, and client needs change rapidly. To keep up, hardware and software solutions have to be engineered with this in mind from the start.

At Parabit, we tend to operate on the periphery of standard, out-of-the-box offerings. We focus our engineering efforts on identifying gaps in the market, looking closely at what doesn't exist yet, and determining how we can create and perfect missing products and solutions. Over the last few years, this approach has driven us to center our engineering projects around scalability and best in class OSDP and TLS encryption. By maintaining a scalable architectural design, we can react quickly to design and manufacture tailored solutions whenever our clients face a new operational challenge.

Engineering That Stays Agile

A scalable foundation has allowed our active product catalog to expand significantly, growing from 600 to 700 products within a single year. This flexibility is why we were able to support the greatest number of clients in our 30-year history last year.

Our engineering teams maintain a steady momentum, consistently balancing a healthy pipeline of projects while developing at least one to two new solutions every single week.

These weekly advancements aren't limited to a single category, as they span across several disciplines:

  • Custom mechanical devices designed for rugged, long-term reliability.

  • New software containerized microservice based solutions and feature updates that improve system management.

  • Innovative adaptive integration methods that allow new hardware to connect cleanly with existing security infrastructure.

Collaborative Development as an Industry Standard

We believe the best ideas come from solving real time conditions. Our development process is highly collaborative, and we share the solutions we build for with our broader client base. When a client approaches us with a unique problem, the resulting design often becomes a new standard available to everyone. This collective approach ensures that every organization using our products and solutions benefits from real-world innovation.

We are always working on something new to improve safety, optimize the user experience, and deliver long-term reliability. If you want to explore what our team is currently developing or discuss a specific challenge your facility is facing, reach out to us today to learn how our latest products and solutions can support your operations.

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

“Hi. My name is Rob Leiponis, president and CEO of Parabit Systems. At Parabit, we focus on designing solutions that enhance safety, optimize the user experience, and deliver long term reliability. Parabit Solutions tends to ride on the periphery of all the other solutions that are out there because we look at what doesn't exist and how could we create it and how can we perfect it. Over the last few years, we've taken a very scalable approach to all of the engineering projects that we've taken on, and it has really allowed us to expand our solution base. We've you know, within a year, we've grown from six hundred to seven hundred active products that we sell. Last year was the greatest number of clients that we've ever serviced in the thirty years of Parabit Systems. We're always trying to maintain a very scalable architectural design with all of our solutions so that way, as clients come up with new use cases, it allows us to react quickly to be able to create solutions for whatever is, you know, an issue for them. What really wakes me up in the morning that makes me wanna come to work every day is all the development that we do because you knoW, on a weekly basis, Parabit is developing at least one to two new solutions, whether it be a mechanical device, a software solution, a software feature, an integration method. So at Parabit, you know, our engineering teams are constantly agile. They're never still. They constantly have a backflow of projects to work on as well as we work very collaboratively with our clients to share with what we're developing for other users to make it a standard for any of our other clients that are purchasing our products. We'd love to share with you what's new, what's improved, and what we're working on.”
