The Challenge
Produce a centralized self-service portal within a busy transportation hub, so that travelers have real-time information on how to get to their final destination
The Solution
The implementation of AirTrain Platform Kiosks allows rapid delivery of the AirTrain system operating announcements and provides large-scale interactive touch screen access to connecting railroad, subway and bus connections, as well as the locations of airlines and terminals within each airport.
Graphics and messages can be changed and updated much more quickly and cost-effectively than with static signage. Digital LCD signs promote brochure displays which feature information on transportation.
Additionally, the ADA compliant traveler kiosk design permits all 4 sides of the enclosure to be implemented with infor- mation, making most use of deployment in small footprint areas.
